Homebase is a large-format retail shopping centre in Shirley, Christchurch, set to become the city’s largest retail site. They came to us wanting their website designed with the overall goal of attracting customers and showcase leasing opportunities.
Our Process
We started by understanding what the business needed and how users would navigate the site. After wireframing to plan the layout and flow we moved onto the full design. We wanted to craft a crisp and modern UI that showcased the features of the retail hub and clearly display leasing opportunities for potential clients and customers.
The Outcome
The design has professional look with a deep olive-green colour palette that feels both grounded and naturally upscale. The overall aesthetic blends modern simplicity with a polished, corporate character reminiscent of high-end commercial real estate branding. Neutral tones, sharp sans-serif typography, and understated interactive details work together to create an elevated, trustworthy presence.
